Your participation means food insecure citizens across Northern Illinois will  have access to fresh food and proper nourishment.

Is there an age requirement? 

Anyone 18 and over can enlist.

 

What will I be doing? 

Loading and sorting through donated food. Delivery to our recipient partners is a significant aspect of the work. You may be carrying boxes which could weigh up to 30 lbs.

When do the Rescues happen? 

Rescues need to correspond with our pantry and shelter partners hours. Therefore rescues typically are conducted during the week between the hours of 9am and 3pm.
